WHAT HAPPENED? MISS SIMONE NETFLIX TRAILER

Well it is finally here.

Netflix has released the trailer for the hotly anticipated 'Nina Simone' documentary.  The Netflix documentary looks at well what happened to Miss Nina Simone.   The film follows the journey of Nina from going to a classically trained pianist to becoming the high priests of Soul.

Nina simone always brought her fight in her songs and everywhere she went which is what was wrong with Nina according to her daughter Lisa Celeste Stroud.  Lisa recalls how her mother was Nina Simone was Nina Simone on and off stage, how she couldn't turn it off.

Nina Simone won 15 Grammys and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2000. Sadly Miss Simone lost her battle with breast cancer and died in 2003 at the age of 70.  The Netflix documentary will premiere on June 26, 2015.
