MADONNA OPENS FIRST EVER PEDIATRIC SURGERY UNIT IN MALAWI NAMED 'MERCY JAMES' AFTER HER DAUGHTER

Madonna continues to help those in Malawi.

Madonna just recently opened a pediatric unit in the Queen Elizabeth hospital in Malawi.  The project was first started in 2014 and open on July 11, 2017.  Patients started being taken in on June 29th.  The Pediatric Surgery unit will help kids in need and double the capacity at which the unit can do surgeries.  It will also train doctors.

Madonna has fallen so much with the people and the nation that she has adopted four kids from the area.  Madonna has said that she just want to help.  She says it is hard to look into the eyes of kids that need help and not doing anything.  Here is what Madonna had to say:

“When you look into the eyes of children in need, wherever they may be, a human being wants to do anything and everything they can to help, and on my first visit to Malawi, I made a commitment that I would do just that, “As we approach the opening of the Mercy James Institute for Pediatric Surgery and Intensive Care, I’d like to thank everyone who has joined me on this unbelievable journey. What started out as a dream for Malawi and her children has become a reality, and we couldn’t have done it without your support.”  “Malawi has enriched my family more than I could have ever imagined, “It’s important for me to make sure all my children from the country maintain a strong connection to their birth nation, and equally important to show them that together, humans have the power to change the world for the better.”

What do you guys think of the queen helping people who actually need help.  I think this is great and we should all take a cue from Madonna.
