MARIA MENOUNOS BATTLES BRAIN TUMOR LEAVES E! NEWS AS COHOST

Sadly another person in this world is battling what could be cancer.

E! News Co-Host Maria Menouonos is battling a brain tumor.  Maria spoke exclusively to People.com and said that she had been having trouble speaking and had some dizziness and went to the doctor. The doctor told her she had a brain tumor that was pushing on her facial nerves.

Maria said it is crazy how her mother is battling cancer and now she could be too.  Maria is optimistic that she will be fine after the doctor remove 98 percent of the tumor but should know more after the biopsy results return. Here is what Mariah shared with People.com

"I didn't cry. I actually laughed," she told People. "It's so surreal and crazy and unbelievable that my mom has a brain tumor–and now I have one too?" "He said, 'I'm 98 percent sure it's benign but we won't know until we get in there,'" "My face is still numb. This is something that takes at least a month of healing, but I'm getting stronger and stronger every day and I'll be back to normal very soon."  

Hopefully she and her mom will get through this.  Our thoughts and prayers are with both of them and all people right now battling some form of illness.
